Hey Everyone!  First off, thanks to all for creating and posting to this site.  I'm a recent transplant from CO to CA and brand new to kayak fishing, so it's great to find a local resource to answer all the questions that come to mind.

Currently rigging a Wilderness Systems Radar 135 and look forward to getting it out on the water ... plan to start on some local reservoirs before graduating to inshore fishing.  Other than that, I'll probably be crawling the forums here in my spare time to absorb as much as your knowledge and advice as possible!

Best,

Brian (aka SouthBayYak)

Thanks for the welcome messages!  Got the Radar out on Lexington res for a maiden voyage -- everything worked as it should (except the part where I didn't catch anything).  Next weekend, I'll take that advice and practice some self-rescues.
