Welcome to NCKA, Elvis.  Take your time assembling your safety kits and learning your boats in different conditions.  This sport is as much about safety, forecasts, immersion gear and navigation tools than it is about fishing.

Welcome to not the madness but the fun.  I'm also knew to NCKA as of Dec, 2017. So far I have meet a lot of good people in NCKA. All have been extremely helpful in many ways. I had a real good time at the Crabfest and won the kayak, "Vibe Sea Ghost 110" in the drawing. The Kayak was donated by "Dan" from Headwaters Kayak in Lodi. I strongly recommend everyone go to his shop or at least visit his web page, http://www.headwaterskayak.com     I'm from the Monterey area you or anyone ever get down here feel free and send me a message, I will try to be available to fish anytime.
