Title: Tomales Bay Halibut Fishing Guide
Post by: Lost_Anchovy on July 20, 2017, 11:48:18 AM
Tomales bay has been pretty good for halibut over the past month. Here is a quick guide i put
together for those that would like to give this place a try or even in the future. I'll add this to the NCKA
repository of fishing knowledge.

Tomales Bay Halibut Fishing Guide:

Question for Hojo:
How many rods are you allowed to fish with in Tomales bay for halibut? I know SF and San Pablo bay have
rod restrictions (which no one abides by :smt011), Any clarification or link to past post would be helpful. Thanks.-LA

I believe Tomales is considered open ocean (not inland), so you can use multiple rods for butts.

As many as you want, unless you're targeting fish with specific gear restrictions. It is considered ocean waters.
