Wow, nice fish everybody. I've never caught a hali from a vessel, but have gotten a few from the Berkeley Pier. That'll change this year, hopefully.

Here's my biggest - 34", but skinny. It took a frozen 'chovey from a float rig:



And here's one of my best pier trips. Both 'buts were 27" and both took live smelt. One from a 3-way rig, the other from a float rig.
