My adopted father is in the hospital up in Ft Bragg but his leukemia has got worse and they are wanting to transfer to UCSF or Standford.  His wife is not able to get around very well alone so I will probably be driving her down.  Are there any close hotels or non profits close to either of those hospitals that will lower the longer term room costs for patients family members. 

I know many have had to do this so any info on place to go or not go would be appreciated.

I sent them an email as there is no phone number listed.  It said the patient needs to be 18 years or younger so will wait for them to get back to me. 

They want to fly him down but Standford doesn’t even have an open bed right now.
