I have a closed deck kevlar Perception Corona for sale. It has a rod holder, tho fishing out of a closed deck can be a little hairy. This boat is 14' long and weighs 38 pounds. It has some cracks in the gel coat which have been repaired tho not cosmetically appealing. Still a very seaworthy boat. It was 3K brand new more than 20 years ago, asking 500 dollars OBO. The deck rigging needs to be replaced and the rudder cable needs to be oiled or replaced. I am throwing in 2 spray skirts (one partial for hot days on a lake and one full coverage), cockpit cover, paddle float, and a device that will right side you up in an emergency called a Back Up.
I also have an 8' sit on top Islander Lipstik sit on top surfing kayak. Its in excellent condition and has been in the water one time. I am throwing in a brand new back band that you will have to install on it. You will need to purchase leg braces. 150 bucks.
Need room for my new HOBIE!

My coworker might be interested in the little surf yak.  Think it would well for an 8 year old?
I'd rather be swinging...

Sure! Its worth a try. Your friend could even bring his 8 year old and have him sit on it to see how it fits him. Maybe I could even install the back band for him.  Let me know. I'm in Morgan Hill.....
