Yea the Raptor is a bad ass yak! I bought mine a while back.  BAITMAN sold his business and moved to Oregon I believe! I hope he’s  living the good life!!!! Genius he is. I have not tried the G2 but I love my SOT Raptor.

Awesome info gents! Thanks Jim I think I might take you up in that offer soon.  I might try the Paddle rings to see if that helps.

Here's how I currently have my set up. I like that I can hide the FF when not in use. I have my transducer mounted thrrough a scooper hole so I wouldn't have to put more holes in the yak.

Santa Cruz / Raptor SOT setups and goodies
« on: June 16, 2015, 08:19:11 PM »
I have a Raptor SOT and I absolutely love it!!!!! I have been curious to see how some have rigged their yak.  I just don't want to drill holes in my yak and then find that there were better ways to set it up :smt013 . I installed a fishfinder (lowrance 4) in the center storage compartment between the legs. I did this so I could put the cover over it when the FF is not in use.   To my dismay, every time I paddle it dumps water all over it.  So now I'm going to get Baitman's brilliant storage extender and put the FF somewhere else in the yak. Any advice on rigging and or pics would be awesome! Thanks for all your help!
