Hey Hey!

I'd be down to go! I just learned how to anchor down last weekend but I wanna bag my first sturgeon :)!

I can bring bait if needed! Gonna try and collect some ghost shrimp this week!

I recommend Quick Release Anchor System (QRAS). Anchoring with anchor trolley can be dangerous. Everything you need to know about QRAS.

I've heard that an anchor trolley can be set up with a quick release. That said, I would be very careful about positioning it in a way that turns the kayak broadside to a strong current.

I run a float to a steal circle to a quick realease and use a dive line wich has 150 yards of thin anchore line .the duve lines have. A nice little wind up handel crank. I have experimented over the years and fliped a few times. And lost a few anchors for not hav8ng anuff line when i let go.

Yes. I just learned that anchor trolley can be used just like QRAS with a clamcleat from my kayak angling mentor. No separate QRAS needed when you already have an anchor trolley. Just need a clamcleat. 😀
