Fish Grip / Lip Gripper is my go to: https://www.amazon.com/Unitied-Plastics-4620-0001-P-United-Fish/dp/B0085U734I

Cheap, effective, and floats. Perfect for kayaking.  :smt002

These are sweet! I like mine on a leash.... let 'em spin  :smt002

This..
And actually use the leash. I once watched one swim away attached to the beautiful full lips of a fiery redhead
Grandson approved ...... ps: always let the little guy hold your fish for photos.... they look WAY bigger  :smt044. (Not my fish just my donated crab bait)

Wanted To Buy / Re: Wanted: 8.5' wide gooseneck trailer

Not knowing Deere as well as deer  :smt044. Any reason a tandem axle car trailer won't work ? I have hauled fairly heavy crew can trucks on one (not mine)

This boat can be upgraded to hold a Hobie drive for $250 for the plug and rudder kit (drive not included) and can be picked up at the tournament or I'm sure we can make arraignments for Jim to bring it to Cali if one of you guys win.
Might want to delete this if Jim says it's the paddle only version
It's my understanding that it can be "upgraded to hold a mirage drive plug" if that's not correct let me know .....baitman?

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Re: Bilge pump
« on: May 20, 2017, 08:14:19 PM »
But Mojo, you can get two real bilge pumps for same the price of those squirt guns - and have some pennies left over for water balloons.

In retrospect, I was probably too harsh in my first comment.  I have a Scotty pump with metal components that moves a lot of water (and costs twice what the O'Reilly pump costs) but it's always better to have some kind of pump than it is to have no pump at all.
I got a 2 pack at costco fer $9.99 and being able to shoot water 8-10 feet makes a bad day fishing way more fun :smt044

That's like bringing a rubber band to a gun fight.
You don't think your life is worth a few extra bucks? Just sayin'.
Well oz fir oz in betting I can keep up with the two bilge specific pumps it shouts a large stream quite a distance. Plus if someone out fishes you you got a way to get even :smt044

Fishing Pics / Re: What is this animal???

Urichus caupo, or Fat Innkeeper Worm Only member of its phylum (Echiura). Also known as McGinnity's Penis, you can kinda see why: It's not usually that big, but when it gets disturbed or irritated, it swells up and squirts. And no, I couldn't make this stuff up, but I do remember some of my marine invertebrate zoology class. For some reason this one stuck...

He said penis  :smt044 (in my best Bevis impression)
