usually its bare hull w/o rigging (i believe)

Everything started off fine until he turned to talk to someone when he quickly lost his balance and quickly went for a swim. He still thinks it's the boat for him... Just wants to add some outriggers. Any thoughts?

Post by: Randall on March 08, 2016, 10:30:03 PM: I'm the brother-in-law. I traded the Cuda Lt for a Kraken. Much better for my needs. Lt is too difficult to do any modifications. Maybe future model will be more suited for fishing.

Post by: scooter on March 09, 2016, 12:37:56 PM: I gave one some pretty serious consideration at one point but ended up going with the eddyline carribean 14. I don't remember a lot about the lt but I believe it had a lot of plastic rivets and stuff where as the eddyline has stainless steel hardware and seemed to be a much better quality product overall.

There were some things it liked about the cuda as far as features. I believe the cuda had a nice hatch system/center console but the eddyline I got has a mod pod and I am still considering cutting it to make it an open hatch setup like a trident. I believe it also had a pretty nice seat. One thing I did notice about the cuda LT was some pretty serious oil canning on the hull which maybe was from improper storage but I would have thought the dealer would have known better.

Any kayak that is lighter is better in my opinion though. I'm wanting for the eddyline to make a c135 with some pedal system then I may be all done buying kayaks....
