Conditions look fantastic for tomorrow- little or no wind from the morning well past noon.

Will be launching around 8am.

Fishing with my son- aiming for a big Hali- but local rumor is that larger ghosts are in and were landed today.

Company welcome, see you on the water!

Wasn't sure what my plan for today was so headed out to ARW sometime after noon, ran into a couple yakers heading back in around 2ish.

Kept drifting and trolling out past the first and second openings, conditions started off windy but with  good water clarity and then pretty much silted up. Had several porpoise along for the ride and enjoyed conversing with the power boaters, ended up going home with many scratched baits however no fish hooked.

Wind died down for the paddle back to the launch. Challenging conditions later in the day, I would recommend an earlier start.

Hit the water at 8am with my son.

Saw some friendly familiar faces -

Conditions were awesome- hot, flat, no wind, clear water.

Fished popsicles- and probably caught 20 shorts between the two of us.

As soon as the tide turned, we landed a 27”.

The fan finally turned on  and we were off the water by 3.

Saw Keith (lost anchovy) back at the launch- and snapped a pic of our Hali’s together-

Yep, put it in over the winter I think but not sure, may have been there for a bit then removed and replaced?.Really makes loading and unloading much easier, power boaters have an easier time as well except at low tide when it gets "sporty" and interesting to watch.

Nice job on the keepers Keith and Geoff and son for sure creating unforgettable memories!
