I'm not sure if they are being imported anymore to the states. Check with Austin Kayaks in Texas they used to carry the whole line, and they have free shipping.

Had a guy show up with a Viking Kayak at our HOW event over the weekend. Looks like a good platform and his was pretty much tricked out.

For me it looks to thin since I am a wide body, though short. I need a fat kayak so I can fit

Probably going to end up in an Eddyline Angler C-14 , still waiting on a couple call backs
Good choice...you can take one of mine for a paddle anytime you like.

Reuben had a stealth for sale if you want an ocean purposed fast glass boat. I want it but it went up for sale probably 12 months too soon/late, bad timing.  Eddyline works too.  I also want to see the swell kayaks.  Look great.

Designed and owned (I believe) by Tim Niemier, original designer of scupper pro and de facto inventor of the SOT.  Looks sweet love to try one see how the stability may have increased....

I got an extra C14 you can borrow anytime, Vic.

I agonized over weather to get a Viking or eddyline and finally decided on the eddyline. I could  try it out and purchase locally. I never did get a chance to try out the viking but I have been very happy with the eddyline. I sold a heavy peddle drive to get it.

Bill Bragman is the US importer for Viking...  Yak Gear.   In Texas..

If you wanted to make the drive to Corpus Christi,, I am pretty sure Roy's Bait and Tackle carries them,,  try  a phone call.   They've become pretty popular down that way..
A sure bet would be  Mariner's Sails in Dallas.    Tell Aris Tsanamis I sent you...  They do ship all over.   They carry about every brand out there..

Damm,,    Just did more research.   I just tried a half dozen ways to find a dealer..  Viking's website sucks.     As far as I can tell ,,,  Yak Gear is no longer in the picture.   No surprise,, I always thought that guy was "Shady".. ( putting it nicely ) .

Good luck in your search.    Still might be worth contacting Mariners  in Dallas if you are intent on getting one.

Why this boat and not a Malibu/Jackson/Ocean Kayak?

Why this boat and not a Malibu/Jackson/Ocean Kayak?

Short version :
Its 54 lbs or an Eddyline Angler C-14 at 50lbs.
excellent reason :)

West Marine used to carry Viking, not sure if they still do.
