Title: A couple reds

Took advantage of the low swell window and did a quick shore dive this week with my buddy Luke. It was hard work, a bit rougher than I hoped, and we were diving a kelp bed in 60-70 feet of water. Managed to land a couple nice reds (both 20+ inches, big one 21 inches) and also took an olive. It was beautiful diving with 30+ feet of vis and sunny skies. Great day!

It was rougher than I was hoping for as well...but was still a beautiful day and felt great to finally get back in the water.

It’s been nasty up North but looks like we may have some windows of opportunity coming soon. 

Thanks for sharing.  It’s as close as I have been to getting in the water.

Yeah this was the first good window down here in a while. This weekend should be epic too!
