Title: Rudder up Hobie tracking modification
Post by: Salty. on June 07, 2017, 08:28:14 PM
I found this post on the Hobie forum about adding a small glue-on skeg to each side of the keel. Sounds like a good idea for someone who needs better rudder up tracking like for tough surf launches etc.

Oooh, thanks Salty!  For my hard-to-turn-in-the-surf Revo-16, I wonder if these could be glued on in the slightly toed-in way that thruster fins work on surf boards.  Any surfers out there who can comment on such an idea?  I am concerned that such an installation might cause a noticeable hit on my speed.
