12. BabyManBen X2

BMB needs to change his name to MBB - MoneyBagsBen!  :smt003  :smt008   Just the jealousy speaking Ben!

It will be so long down the road before I can join the crew, I'm sure Hobie will a latest and greatest out by then.

It doesn't count, but we have an AI and a TI demo at the shop I have been playing with.  Took the wife out for a moonlight sail last October on the TI and can't wait for warm weather to take the wife and baby out!

I just added NCKA members "Elusive" and "sealion1" to the list on page 1.  That takes the total to 33 Hobie Islands.

Folks,

The current conditions look crappy on the ocean on Saturday 15th.

Anyone up for a little sail/fish from Chrissy field over to angel island (for lunch), then back?

I should be on this list here pretty shortly within the next few months. But I would love to hear how you have your rigs setup, unless I am being a noob and bringing this up in the wrong place.

Either way I should be getting a TI

Freshwater or salt?  If you want to get a collection of different ways to set up for salt, make the Albion Open this August.

I just picked up a 2015 Dune AI March 21st.  Went sailing out of Moss Landing last Sunday.

What a great boat.  I sailed out about 1.5 miles to join the whale watching boats, dodging massive pods of sea lions and a few whales.
I'm looking forward to trolling for salmon and crabbing from the AI.

Looking for both. Most of the fish I would want to catch are salt though. I am looking forward to August!

It seems likes its been a while since anyone has posted but since its a sticky, I'll throw my name in as a new owner of an AI.  Haven't sailed in 10+ years so a bit nervous about my first time out.  Thank goodness that AI has the mirage drive so I can just paddle in.

I got a nice used 2014 AI last June and had a great time fishing from it. I didn't do a lot of sailing, but enough to know that it's a lot of fun. Looking forward to getting it back out on the water...

Sailing Otobepelagic's old 2012 AI out of Oakland.

Good idea Ariel Sea. Would love to meet up with other locals to go after halibut in the bay when its too rough for salmon.

I’ve taken my TI crabbing in Tomales Bay 3-4 times, halibut fishing once, am looking forward to going rock fishing and trolling for salmon. Love the boat and am continuing to buy gear and reduce what I take along.

I've recently picked up 2015 TI (this is my 2nd islander).

There were ideas couple of years ago about doing some AI/TI activity. I'd be up for both beach camping and some run (e.g. SC / MBK). Or just fishing :) Anybody?

P.S. I'm looking for a way to attach HAKA (I'm using backboard) to the front AKA *over hobie tramps*. Used lines to AMA and main hull before, but looking for new ideas.  Let me know if you've done it.
