Looking to replace my broken Trident 15 front hatch clip.

In the past I would've went to Mel Cotten. Since they are gone what is the closest kayak accessory shop in the South Bay????

I guess online is always on option but would also like to know for future needs.

Thanks

This is the number at Johnson in Maine. Ask for Ken Stinson in customer service. Tell him Craig Davis forwarded this number and might he help. That looks like the cross link clip. Right? For the Trident front hatch older model. Chances are a local shop might not have those. If they are available Ken will know.

That's a  " side release buckle" .  What size is it,  1inch?    I've got some.

Just replace buckles with whatever you can find locally.

Made in China ones I found to be extremely weak...

FYI   You can order online at www.strapworks.com  carries Korean made parts.. much better,   Nice variety of stuff there.

There's two straps that tie into each end of the clip at an angle.

When they interlock they form an X over the hatch.

Yes I could put two separate clips on it instead but would prefer to stay with OEM parts.
