For Sale / Ray Trophy Salmon/Halibut rod

Used it twice.  Not really my style of fishing, too parabolic for me.  Guess I’m not a salmon fisherman.

Bought new for $89.99+tax/shipping.

Will let it go for $40.

While most go towards the south end of OB, it’s also way more crowded.
I’ve done well on all parts of OB.  Stand on the tall sand hill and look for troughs and deep water close to shore.  Just like looking for perch and striper holes.

The round bar mounts are a plastic C clamp and uses a locking bolt/nylon butterfly nut made for the Yakima Mako.  Still probably not an option if you’re planning to remove your saddles after every excursion.

I have some yakima mako saddles with round bar mounts that I’d be willing to donate if you don’t find an easy solution.

If you want to stick with DIY, then I’d go with a large D ring or pin.
How about u-bolts with butterfly nuts?

I’m over here in El Cerrito.  Need to dust off the suit and check if I even fit anymore.  Gun likely needs bands but I’m down to join in.

Saw a guy with one of these at Muir last Thursday.  Didn’t catch nothing with them but wondered how they could be better than snares.

What do you plan to use for propulsion?

The wind picks up there really quickly.  Not to mention a lot of large ships and the current can be very strong on high tidal days.

Are you on a budget?  Why not get a better tandem kayak or even a boat?

But make sure you're on the jetty.

I've seen wardens fine individuals and families set up at the base of the Doran jetty next to the bathroom for snaring without a license.  Thinking they were on the jetty.

Like others have said, $2500 is about the going rate these days if you're going to hire a C10 to size up the subpanel.  The main panel would cost more as it involves permits and your local power company.

I'd say keep shopping for a 2nd bid, but if you're on a budget, then it'll probably be a DIY job.  If I was closer, then I'd help out, but the drive wouldn't be feasible.

How many amps is this subpanel rated for?  100a?
Looks like there's already quite a bit going to it judging by the number of tandem breakers.  It may only cost you a few hundred + materials if you want to go with a bigger subpanel size, to have more slots.

But if you need to size up the cable to get more amperage and a bigger panel, then you're probably looking at four digits.

Check under/behind the refer to make sure the heat vents are clear from debris.  These often get dirty and causes the refer to get hot.

Next would be to check the “damper”, it’s a small flap between the refer and freezer that triggers the temperature between the two.  Usually on the top of the fridge or behind the back panel, near the top.

Looks pretty straight forward.
Shut off the power, and start rearranging.
I’d add another neutral/ground bar, get rid of the wire nuts, and maybe upgrade to better breakers.

If you were closer, then I could take care of you.

Any of the Doran beach sites are good.  Walking distance to the beach for the kids and easy kayaking launch access on both sides, ocean or into the harbor.

On the opposite site is Westside Campground.  Less popular than Doran but usually much more available sites than Doran.  Water access is still walkable, probably bring bikes for the kids.  Though its closer to Spud Point Marina for chowder.
