For Trade / New Penn slammer III for trade
« on: October 02, 2018, 07:37:39 PM »
Have a brand new Penn Slammer III 4500 (have box as well). I would like to trade for a New Daiwa Lexa 300/400 need to be RH models.

Would also consider a New Dobyns fury swimbait rod with a little cash, or used variations with more $$$.

Would also take a tranx or another comporable rod/reel. Or just the ole $$$.

For Sale / Beer brewing equipment and more for sale.
« on: July 09, 2018, 04:47:15 PM »
Selling off some stuff I don't have space or time for in order to upgrade to a peddle kayak. Will consider trades for some bass equipment such as a G-Loomis E6X Drop Shot Rod or a Daiwa lexa / 13 fishing concept A3 (something to throw large baits with). However I'm mainly after cash for a new kayak.

Will post pictures when I have time

--Draft Brewer Twin Kegging System (Brand New) - $250
This system sales new for nearly 400 with what's included. Comes with 2 five gallon kegs, 10 lbs (i'll have to verify if this is a 5 or 10lbs) CO2 tank, and regulator. It's basically the previous model of this system + the CO2 tank. https://www.northernbrewer.com/collections/kegging/products/draft-brewer-dual-keg-system-new-ball-lock-w-manifold

--All Grain Fermentors favorite brewing set 10 gallon (Used) - $150
This system is great for high gravity 5 gallon batches (allows you to make imperials or tripples) or large 10 gallon batches of regular styles. https://www.northernbrewer.com/collections/all-grain/products/fermenters-favorites-essential-all-grain-brewing-starter-kit-10-gallon

--3 Primary fermentation glass carboys (2-6.5 gallon, 1-7Gallon) - $30 each
These carboys all retailed for 50+ new.

-- 2 Secondary Fermentation glass Carboys 5.5 gallons - $25 each

--Kegerator temperature controller (need to find this before posting price)

-- Dark Star Propane burner - $35

Beyond this I have a bunch of other brewing stuff such as bottle cappers, a 7 gallon bottling bucket, as well as hoses, cleaning chemicals, bottle caps, refractometer etc etc.

Will sell off entire set of brewing equipment for- $500 (cost me well over 1000 new), potentially could include a 10 gallon aluminum boil pot to for a little extra.

--Xbox One S 500 Gbwith 2 controllers, 3 games, 2 4K UHD movies Suicide Squad and Batman vs Superman (Barely used) -$225
Bought this as a 4K bluray player after getting our TV, however I find that we just stream content and don't watch physical copies of movies.

-- 2013 Jackson Cuda 12 - $600 Firm
Will not sell this kayak till early september, just throwing it out there for the future, also would possibly be open to selling it with the Helix 5 G2 DI GPS fishfinder/gps combo for extra.

For Sale / SOLD 2016 Jackson Kayak Kraken 13.5
« on: February 15, 2018, 01:43:19 PM »
Well I purchased this kayak to replace my 2013 Cuda 12, unfortunately the cuda 12 fits in much better with my paddling needs so I have decided to keep it. This boat is practically new the bottom barely has a single scratch on it, only been out a few times. There are some factory blemishes on it which I will include in photos, does not effect kayak in anyway, and are only noticeable up close. Will include paddle and a cart.

Asking ### in group which is a steal for a kayak in this condition.

For Sale / ISE Show Deals
« on: January 18, 2018, 10:41:26 PM »
Kind of just a heads up to check prices before you buy a "Show Deal" went to ISE earlier with plans to update my 2013 cuda 12 for the 2017 cuda HD. Was 20 dollars more at the show then normal price at the store... Listed as a show ISE special deal.

On another note kayaks that never go on sale like hobies are currently discounted if you have that kind of $$$.

Well I got that six gill surf rod last month and wanted to try it out, so I hit Seaside beach on my way in to Monterey for the holiday. Only fished for about an hour didn't get any surf perch sadly but I stuck a ray on some bait (either sand fleas or squid I forgot which hook had which) gave up a great fight, was pretty fun.

For Sale / Six Gill BlackFriday
« on: November 20, 2017, 12:27:18 PM »
Well I know a handful of us bought the drekkar reel last month while it was on sale, and I think I can speak for everyone saying we were highly impressed and will be looking for more gear from them.

Only thing I'd put as a note of caution on their spinning reels is weight as they are full metal body reels. Their bait casters are graphite and much lighter however.

Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Port 8/10/17?
« on: August 09, 2017, 11:14:09 PM »
So I got the port last week around 6pm and was graced with an awesome top water bite I hooked a striper dang near every cast throwing a heddon spook (small grade of fish). Decided to follow up yesterday in the morning to see if I could repeat my success but I ended up spending a ton of time on the water and only got a few mediocre bass to show for it didn't see a single striper! Admittedly though I kind of messed around early morning near the locks to see if I marked any salmon... fat chance. And squandered any chance of getting that early top water action.

Fish finder markings I believe were schools of baby striper but it also could of been shad they were heading.

Looking to probably hit it again tomorrow maybe a tad more seriously :p. Still trying to learn the port and I don't take bass fishing to seriously but if anyone wants to join I'll probably be in the parking lot of the barge canal by 730 or so. I'm going to load up my gear at 7.

Scored my first mackinaw today at fallen leaf wasn't really expecting to catch one as I had forgotten my fish finder back in sac but after a good 20 minutes of jigging some of my 2 ounce salmon lures I hooked up on a smaller 1-2lbs mackinaw (17 inches).

Excited to get back over there and try it again in the coming weeks.... With my fish finder. I should also note I was jigging in ~200 feet of water with monofilament... the amount of fish I missed for that mistake is unreal haha.
