Raffle Prizes for Elk Tourney

Here is a list of items that will be included in the raffle at the Elk Tourney next weekend.   Tickets will be $5 each and all of the money taken in will go to support the Coastside Fishing Club.

The money from the raffle will go to Coastside fishing club... they are our active voices in the MLPA process.  We want to support them and let them know that kayak angler's exist and have a stake in this legislation as well.

I intend to craft a letter to Ben Sleeter and others who are active in this issue from Coastside to accompany our donation. The letter will express how much we appreciate their personal involvement in this important process and perhaps increasing their awareness of how vulnerable kayak anglers are be to coastal closures as compared to other recreational anglers. Also to let them know what KFASC has done already to put kayak angler's interests on the table and that KFASC and NCKA are there if more work is needed.

With that said... any other raffle items others can drum up... feel free.

After much consideration, it has been decided that the raffle will be open only to those in attendance at the Elk tourney (hey, you're driving a long way... might as well make it worth while).

Come find me or my wife and give us $5 for each ticket you wish to purchase.  We'll hold the raffle after the weigh-in on Saturday afternoon.

Thanks a TON to everyone who donated or solicited prizes for our raffle... I've updated the list as of today with everything that people told me they were bringing (don't forget to bring your items with you   ).

Please try to bring exact change (Cash) for the number of raffle tickets you want to purchase... $5 per ticket... that way my wife and I don't have to hassle too much with making change.

Ohh... and be prepared to buy LOTS of tickets... there are some really great prizes up for grabs!!!  Remember, you are making a donation to Coastside with every ticket you purchase.

I have a burgundy chevy pickup, a tent trailer, wife, baby, and dog... shouldn't be too tough to find me to get tickets.  Stop by anytime.
