Mr. X..... Great minds think alike.  I've been looking at those interesting kite reels for some time now to try for handlining fish and especially for catching bait and managing those damn sabiki rigs.  Anyways, I just now ordered one on Amazon and it'll be here tomorrow.  I hope it can handle a big fish.  If not,  I'll be returning it for sure.  I'll definitely be bringing my trusty old school handlines as back-up.

I'm looking forward to coming back and defending my title  ... but mostly looking forward to the fun and company which is all that really matters!!!
