NCKA brother and fam has lost everything in Yosemite fire. Elite 4 HDI bidding!

I found out Sunday that a fellow NCKA brother and a good friend, Tim Martel (northeastfreak) lost his Foresta (Yosemite) home on Saturday. Tim isn't a super active member on the boards but has fished a bunch of our events and he is an awesome guy. Well, fortunately his wife and baby were not home at the time the fire came through. Everything is gone, personal items, all cloths, kayak and all gear, everything except their two cars and what they were wearing. Tim actually works for the the Yosemite wild fire heli crew and was working at the time and responded to the fire. As they flew over he quickly realizing that his home was lost, the crews focused their efforts on stopping the fire from spreading any further to his neighbors homes. No other homes were lost.

His mother has started a gofundme.com account to help them purchase needed items for himself and his family (cloths, food, ect.). They are dealing with this the best they possibly can and thanks god that no one was hurt.  I haven't had much contact with him since the fire but he's left me a couple messages, his spirits are high considering. I've also starting pulling extra gear so when he's ready for some fishing "therapy" he'll have some gear to do so. If you have any extra gear that you might want to donate please let me know. This is what I have so far for him...

Thanks Ron! Nice seeing you at Albion. I spoke with Tim today and they are receiving a lot of love from the community, friends and family. Here is picture of their house which was taken at the scene... I guess their Volvo didn't make it out.
