I am long legged and 250+. After fitting a rudder kit on my Prowler 15, I found I couldn't rest my feet anywhere except astride outside the hull due to interference with the steering pedals. Fortunately, it is a relatively narrow boat, but after a few hours of paddling/fishing my hips start to feel it. I needed to come up with an alternative foot rest.

Pictures say the most;

Rough prototype

Rough fit

Final iteration

That's some fancy woodwork - the Dutch do something similar!   I suppose you rest your heels on top of the lateral piece.  I'm tall, but most of my height is in the torso (34" inseam), and I just loosen the straps to the foot pedals so they are all the way forward but so I can still make the sharpest turns, and just rest my feet on the pedals.  But I have the original P-15 with all the (useless to me) footrest bumps and cups on the bottom, so I'm thinking when they flattened those out and put the pod in there they might also have shortened the cockpit.

Aye-Yup, same here!  :smt006

My OK hull is a 2008 and sports lots of useless bumps on the floorboard. Maybe I'll get a new one one of these days(?), but I kinda like an older boat, it encourages me to experiment with keels, handles, racks, crates, rod holders, footpads, clips to hold stuff, etc.
