Thanks everyone for the suggestions.  I will be applying it to my next FF.

I contacted Lowrance, and they offered a replacement head unit (no transducer) for $100.  They recently reduced the price on it fyi.

I dunked my Elite-4 with the rubber boot on the chip slot missing.  DOA.  Sent it to Lowrance, not repairable.  Paid $125 for just the unit.  They returned a Hook.
