I have this crab trap that I don't use anymore. It comes with a zinc. If you know someone with a boat it is a good pot. Not for use off a kayak...unless you have a big one :smt003 I'm in SF.

Commercial pots are bigger than that.  I used to fish one or 2 of those off my Hobie Outback.

I stand corrected. I used it off a Dive Yak I had with a 2 HP motor on it and out of a Zodiac. That is a lot of trap for a kayak but I have never been on a Hobie so I don't know much about them.
