I have a bunch of misc fishing gear (mostly freshwater) that I won't be needing anytime soon. Figure with everyone in the cove for GS, it would be a good time to host a gear Sale/Swap here at the Tides Inn.
If you have gear to Sale/Swap, bring a towel, tarp or table and set up on the parking area (please keep your gear on your towel, tarp, or table)
I'm thinking Friday from 12:00 - 3:00 would be a good time.
This will allow for time on the water in the morning, and also will not interfere with the captains meeting.
Please post up if interested
See you in a few days

I'll be bringing this stuff and maybe more to sell
And maybe post up what you're looking for.  For example, I have a twice used Lexa 100 that I kinda wanna keep but could be convinced to bring if there was interest.

I have a tsunami TSSPJS-701H slow pitch jigging rod I ordered by mistake. It is for a spinning reel and I wanted conventional. I am going to return it but I'll have to pay shipping. If someone wants it I'll give you a discount of the shipping cost I'll save. $90 minus what I'll save on shipping.

Would a Mitchel 303 Saltwater spinning reel work good for that rod?  If so, AND you will show me slow pitch jigging technique, I would like it.

I am new to the gear and I don't know that reel so I don't have an answer on fit. Techniques I can share my limited knowledge.

I'll take it and give my reel a try with it.  I've loaded it with 30lb braid and 20lb mono topline about 15' or so.

I'll bring it. I'm supposed to pick up the replacement today. I'll ask what my return shipping would have been.

Great!  I've got some stuff to bring to the swap meet.  I've got 2 or 3 solar panels that fold up and can charge up a fish finder battery.  I got them with satellite phones a few years back to charge a satellite phone when remote and no power available.  I use one on my RV plugged into my cigarette lighter to keep the battery up between trips.  Lots of adapters to connect them to various stuff.

Would anyone going to GStwelve be able to pick up a melting pot from Eric (yakhopper) and bring it back to the Sacramento area or bonus points if it’s to the placerville area. I could hook you up a dime bag of some jigheads to make it worth your while. Thanks

I've got an NRS Chinook worn twice before I found a better sized pfd.  If anyone's interested let me know, I'll have it with me. Size L/XL Green.  Moosejaw has it new for $80 so I figure somewhere around there or trade. Purchased last November.

Thanks, Cody
