GS11 Raffle!!!

Pretty sure this isn't the right place to post this, but....I'm a total newb to salt water and want to go to Gimme Shelter. I've searched a ton and can't find a link for registration? Also, are new people even allowed at GS or is it more of a tournament/serious competition?

Wow!!! Great job, Jim!
It started out great and it just keeps going!!!

Kokatat not only came through with a Nova drysuit...but also with a pair of booties, a sun hat, some paddling gloves and t-shirts, a water bottle, and a PFD!!!

 

The booties are size 11, the suit is a Nova size large, and the PFD is an adult small/medium. All items are being raffled off "as-is" with no returns or exchanges for different sizes.

We will decide how to consolidate/split up items between now and when the raffle starts.

Now that we'll have some warm weather arriving I'll be finishing the gaff with marine varnish.

It will feature the standard zinc plated Mustad hook with about a 3" gap, a naturally shed redwood handle, with  Lingcod, halibut, rockfish, abalone, and dungie burned into it. It should float

Finally, long the spine of the handle it reads :" GIMME SHELTER 11, MAY 20TH 2017, surrounded by both giant kelp and bull kelp stalks.
