On a recent trip up to the Klamath a mama bear approached my kayak while I was hugging the shore as there was a boat right behind me fighting a salmon....way cool !!!   If you look close at the start of the video you can spot the baby bear just above it's mama and then it takes off through the grass just above her....smart cub.

I set my trail camera up in camp on night hoping to catch a couple pictures of bears....I netted  562 pictures on ONE bear...

A friend and I went for a paddle yesterday,
Thought this was way cool ..... bigest Ive seen yet.
Stood about 3-4 inches taller than my dog who weighs 32lbs.

It was really cool to watch, He walked along the bank for about 1/2 mile.
Kept comming in and out of the trees ... think he was lookin for some birds. Didn't seem to mind me drifting along taking pictures.
