One comment on the setup.
The GPS is too far forward.  The screen it a bit small and would be difficult to read while paddling.
Move it closer.

What about a solar panel  :sunny: charging a battery, powering a trolling motor and maybe a microwave for really fresh fish? :violent4:

hello every one hey pat tell randy i say hello :smt006 there no solar yet on the yak
now but working on something for the ff & gps system i have a camper that i working on
total rebuild from top 2 bottom what was i thanking oh i know kayak fishing & camping :smt003
with enought solar 2 dry camp for a week or more

in my mine that gps is 2 close for me its small but i can see it fine for speed dis dir time  etc
i thank a clean deck is better more room for fish but for now it works

What kind of GPS is that? I didn't think they made waterproof ones.

it,s a garmin gps 3 plus very waterproof have not had a problem yet this is the set up i use now no longer need the garmin
