Alright. I got my gun thanks to Tote's posting in the classifieds. It's the scuba pro 48". Lot longer in person than I thought.

The bands were completely shot so I need to get 3 new bands. Where should I get them at?

The cord looks like a braided nylon, should that also be replaced? There does not appear to be a shock cord section on the cord.

What keeps the spear in place at the front of the gun? Thanks for the help, I am getting stoked!

-Brian

hey man, congrats on the gun! you'll have fun with it! if its convenient for you, wlalins dive center near rei in san carlos has a whole bunch of spearfishing equipment. they can hook you up with some nice replacement bands and also set you up with new shock cord or mono shooting line. david laird knows all about them.

come summer you can go stick some halibut!

congrats!

Check with Dolphin dive shop on El Camino in Sac. I've seen various bands there.
There's a Dolphin in Stockton now also.

From the decal shop?  I lloked and passed on it.  I think that it's missing a piece on the front of the gun.  how much did you end up paying?
