Wow, wherever that place is, its thick with Lings.

I thought Lings hide in crevices. But it seems they are more likely to perch on top of rocks. And the gathering explains why, at some spot near Pedro Rock (Linda Mar Beach) I got two Lings in 5 minutes.

That was Alaska about a decade ago. Now it is not so much due to lings being classified as a commercial fish and got raped since 2013. Even though the "babies" seem to thrive, the bigger ones are hard to find.
