I haven't seen anything launchable between Moss and Del Monte either.  My kayaking skills are the best, but I'm sure there's a several folks who could do it.

A surf launch in Marina? That's crazy. I have trouble standing out there trying to perch fish some days. Even the calmest days its crazy.

I am wondering if you can wait for the right tide and swell.  I know I have seen it possible, especially early in the morning.  I just don't know all the condiitions that would have to come together.  I am also looking at the beach at Tioga Ave in Sand city, that would cut three miles off.  I know I seen surf that can be done there.

Ed - keep us posted with your "short cuts" - it would be nice to explore other launch spots - who know's, it could harbor some really good catches besides Salmon  :smt002

I'm sure it is possible on the small days.  stow it all and you'll get out just fine.

I have launched on the beach at scott's creek a number of times.

you can always use a wetsuit and a bowline and basically swim it out.

Now we gotta get you one from the yak, dude.

Salmon sure are fun fish to catch, aren't they?  Good eating too.

I can't wait to get out there and catch one myself!
