I recently got interested in kayak fishing, and I'm trying to figure out how to get started. I've had some experience with fishing, but I know next to nothing about doing so from a kayak. I live in Tiburon, and I'm hoping to get out on the water with the right gear within a couple of weeks.

Hey guys, thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. I recently got out on a rented kayak to find out where I could get to, and the Marin Islands seem nice. I assume that there are stripers out there, so I'm thinking about using a live bait leader or trying a bucktail. However, I'm not really sure if either of those is the right setup. If somebody could possibly point me in the right direction, that'd be pretty great. Thanks.
