I'm running a slammer of a crab boat this season. 42 ft Vega. 250 pot permit. Cummins main, Kubota gen. 12K lbs crab tank. Screaming hydros. Bait chopper (yes, a bait chopper). Full galley, fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven.
I'm looking for a box hand (junior crew member). Obviously experience is preferred but not at all necessary. This is a position often filled by rookies wanting a foot in the door of the commercial fishing industry. It's a tough job that takes physical stamina and an ability to work 20 hr shifts for the first month or so. Pay is a percentage of catch depending on experience and ability. Must be available to work on the gear starting soon, about a week (I still want to get a few salmon this week). If interested please TEXT me (don't phone. I get shitty reception in the Bolenas/ pt Reyes area and will be fishing solo next week. Zero time to answer calls. Ill get back to you)

If I wasn't way too old, lacking in physical stamina, unable/unwilling to work a 20 hour shift, and totally swamped with a dozen other things, I'd be all over this...
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...
