Will do. Gotta get myself a kayak first. I was thinking of French meadows or hellhole. I've heard French meadows is good fishing, not sure about hellhole but it sounds great !!

French Meadows:  Rainbows and Browns.

Hell Hole: Kokanee, Browns, Mackinaw.

I much prefer Hell Hole.  Better fishing and better scenery.

Donner is a good bet.  I live near 65 and pleasant grove...it's about an hour and half from the house to the ramp.  Lot's of kokes, monster macks and is very yak friendly...just be sure to dress warm.
I live right off pleasant grove (park) where it gets into Rocklin. A Donner trip sounds like fun, but yeah right now it's a bit chilly.
hey neighbors..looks like we all live in the same area, im in between pleasant grove & blue oaks too. Do we need a boat inspection to fish donner? Never fished on a yak there before
