Hi I'm Ron/weimarian :smt005 Yup!!!! As a former newbie, this is all true... Just wish my wife loved to fish too. Balancing all the opportunities to fish with the hunnydoo list keeps me off the water at least until the list is caught up on :smt044 see ya all out there! :smt006 :smt006 :smt006

I may not have gotten a new member this year, but I did get one friend hooked on it.

I got one more CA fishing license sold, plus a bunch of tackle, and one more enthusiast out fishing safely, no engine needed. I'm happy with that!

Hi, I'm Jim, welcome to the  Best fishing addict club ever. Ncka has introduced me to some of the greatest people I have ever met. I have never felt more supported or safer while having crazy adventures in Wild California then I do around my friends here. The one drawback is that the more often I go 2 events the less likely it is that I will lose any weight.

On top of that the amount of stuff I learn on the site is mind blowing.  Who new fish head soup was so damn good or that it was a good idea to eat your fish's last dinner. Lol

I like what Great Bass 2 said. I will add that I have learned a lot about being a good person, being laid back, and having a selfless attitude, from people on this site. NorCal has a good vibe going.

I thank you all for the welcome and I plan to do more posting in the future! I can't wait to meet everyone and show off a little of my own culinary skills at the events.

Hello, everyone.I am Dennis, brother of Superd270. I just wanted to thank all of those members that I met at the crab season opening at HMB. I was really amazed at the brotherhood, laughters and endless kindness of the members. I am very new to the sport of kayaking but I am eager to learn. Mooch has been kind enough to give me a few tips and my brother, Dan is going to show me how to do it. See you guys out there and I look forward to meeting more new friends and brothers.

Great post, Scott.  Meeting people from NCKA has been one of the best experiences I've ever had, and sharing time on the water, back on shore and on this board is really the Best of Times - right up there with Family Time, which it really is.

Keep up the great vibe, Everyone, and be sure to keep this message on the surface so that all newcomers know that NCKA is way beyond just a kayakfishing site.   :smt001
