I m New to kayak Fishing but I want to go where the action is at...I n done with my consulting work in e weeks and I wanted to know anyone is going to the shelter cove.  I want to drive up there and fish it... Anybody going?  I m but nervous.. Thank u

There is a gathering at shelter cove this weekend.  Several dozen kayakers will be there.

There is a Open Shelter event this weekend. There should be plenty of veteran kayakers will be there and likely willing to share some intel.

Bring your kayak wheels just in case you need to wheel your kayak up and down the beach launch.  The small hill going to the beach can be a back breaker.
