Just one final post on a few PIF 2014 items.

First of all...THANK YOU to everyone who donated $, prizes, entered AOTY/DOTY and organized events to raise $ (GS8 Silent Auction, SofTub raffle etc).

When all was said and done, we were able to raise and give $15,375 to young Hailey Pass!

This is BY FAR our most successful PIF year so far!

Here are the totals of the years for comparison:

2010: $6,000+
2011: $9,000+
2012: $8,000+
2013: $10,000+
2014: $15,300+

For this year, here is the breakdown of where the $15,375 came from:

GS8 Silent Auction: $805
SofTub Raffle: $1,250
Donations: $1,500
PIF event: $8,360
AOTY/DOTY: $3,460

Pretty sure my math is good, and feel 100% confident on the actual total and GS8 and AOTY/DOTY and PIF event numbers, but may be a little high or low on SofTub vs Donations...

Huge thanks again to GS8, Sledge, and PolePole for letting AOTY/DOTY fees go to PIF!!

I know there were some people who have been less than excited about some of the details of AOTY/DOTY this year, but I hope when you see how much $ we got for Hailey that you will look past that and be stoked on how these comps have been able to make this our most successful PIF year so far.

Finally...thanks to all the A-Hulls for all the behind the scenes work on PIF....it really is amazing stuff.

Love you guys!

I was texting for awhile with Porky this morning about how Hailey is doing and while she has still been struggling with some issues, she is definitely in a way better place than she was when we chose her as the 2014 PIF recipient back in March.

 :smt001

Sincerely,

Jim

That is so rad Jim! Big kudos to you and everybody who stepped up and donated or put their time into the cause. PIF was by far my favorite NCKA event so far. My parents were both really impressed and want to make it to next year's event. Even my grandma bought some raffle tickets! I can feel the love, good job everybody, I'm proud to associate myself with such a solid group :smt008

Very nice. I know you did a lot of work on this thanks, Jim. It's a testament to the generous and kind nature of NCKA and its members that over fifteen thousand dollars was raised.
