Current balance in account is now $2,287.38

I will be leaving $1,300 in the Paypal account. This is $ that came from AOTY/DOTY reg fees and is earmarked for prize plaques.

Anything above $1,300 will be transferred out of PayPal and given to Brent to help with Hailey's medical bills etc.

So far the NCKA community has given Hailey a check for $4,165 (AOTY/DOTY reg fees and PIF donations), $805 in cash (GS8 Silent Auction) another transfer of $627 (AOTY/DOTY reg fees and PIF donations), $590 from Sledge in SoftTub ticket sales, another transfer of $346, $60 mailed on 8/5/14 by CenCoast for 3 Softtub tickets, $20 in cash from Terry Mcfall for 1 PIf Ticket and $40 in cash from Bobby_Seal for his DOTY entry for a total of $6,653.

WOW, YES, definitely bring tons of happiness to us, and not just the financial help, but to see the whole PIF thing come full circle. I can't claim to know Joel like a lot of you, but as mentioned before we shared a lot. He was always amazing to Hailey and I KNOW he'd be so proud of you all. He expressed to me many times wanting to help a child and Hailey and Joel seem to have connected well.

As for Hailey, shes doing great. She got her first wet cough since the hospital and being on medication, and she worked through it and fought it off! This is great, because in the past, she was never able to work through it. Her lungs are clear and the two different inhalers have really helped her lungs work! We also did the sweat test for cystic fibrosis and shes clean.

Were still working on her CH50 compliment immune system test results, we have taken it 5 times now, every time it comes back as very low or none,  we recently took the test again and looked into each compliment, which appeared to be ok for the most part, this is whats strange and apparently not normal. Doctors are stumped at Stanford. So we took the CH 50 again and are waiting on results and will go from there. A bit confusing. We also learned her body never responded to the pneumococcal vaccine, so we had to redo that. Lots n lots of blood, but shes been a trooper.

The important thing is shes her and is doing well, she fought through that dam wet cough for the first time! The rest we are working on!

My wife Raquel lost her job while at the Stanford PICU, but during the same stretch she was able to gain another, she actually pulled it together long enough to leave the hospital to go on a interview and nailed it, so this is a big relief. With the help of all you we e been able to buy medications and work through some of the bills and were VERY thankful. Each and everyone of you are amazing, I know theres many people more deserving then us of such great support. Coming so close to losing Hailey has changed our lives forever. We really appreciate every moment we have with her, shes a great kid.

Pretty taken back about all this, feeling a bit anxious, happy, guilty, excited, embarrassed, and so on..its a mixed pot of emotions.

Glad things are going better and I am glad the PIF funds are helping.  I don't believe the PIF would be as effective if it was split up to everyone who could use it.  Don't stress about it because I would also have all those mixed feeling if I were in your shoes.  Its normal.

Daaaaaang!!

Just an FYI.

We got a few recent hottub ticket sales and AOTY/DOTY signups via the PIF PayPal.

The $212 from these recent transactions have been withdrawn from the PIF PayPal account, I have let Brent know, and he will be able to write a check for the funds as soon as they post.

Attached is a screenshot showing the PayPal balance at $1,300. This $1,300 is from the first AOTY/DOTY reg. fees of the year and will go towards the prize plaques (Piscean and BigFish).

The second screenshot shows the recent transactions in PayPal, including the previous withdrawal of $2,593 after the PIF event.

This most recent withdrawal brings the total amount of $$ given via PIF 2014 efforts to Hailey Pass to $15,278.
