Craftsmen's Corner / Cart needed

What's up.
Copied this from my intro page. Thought I'd share

Oh yea. Figgured i share some thing I dident think of when buying or immediately  there after.
Handling your yak out of the water.
When I bought I knew the weight but had guy help load it in the back  of my work truck. Easy!
Now I'm home it's dark and I'm by myself this is awkward.
Out of the truck musseled down the drive and in the garage no problem not much dragging.
Next day let's try loading it on the 4runner. ........
Well this sucks skate board helps but its awkward and I look like an ass.  Getting it down is just plain sketchy.
So a week later and plans for the maiden voyage I'll just rig it  2x12 a couple of 4x4s a skate truck and some 98mm fly wheels. Got it.
At the launch dropped the skate cart broke the 2x12 Right In half.  Sucks!
Mission acomplished and some rework I think I got the poormans cart figured out!
Until the beach

One of my favorite things about camping on Catalina was the sound of the waves on the beach.  Some thing about all the shells and the steep shore made for some great sleep.

Hey peoples, I just moved to the Santa Cruz area and was looking for some dog freindly beaches (including the Monterey area).  Any thoughts?  I'm coming from the pacifica area where there were plenty of shore to fish with my pooch.
Thanks,
Ice
By the way O'neil Forbay is hitting good right now.

Nice!  Water looked pretty murky with little visibility.  Dident look like it slowed things down much.  I was planning an overnight on Friday the 18th and fishing the 19th.  But was worried about visibility.  Any thoughts or recommendations.  If anyone is in the area I'll be fishing out of a pontoon (inflatable) with a buddy in a raft (no Yaks yet still looking), stop on by and say hi.  Stop by Friday Night we'll have a helluva fire and plenty of drinks.  :smt006

What's up folks!?  Just signed on and love the info provided here.  I've been meaning to get a Kayak for a while now and I think I'm ready for 2016.  I've got a few other floaties, float tube & pontoon rig.  I just move from the SF peninsula to the Santa Cruz area and need a kayak!  I hope to gain some more great info and meet some good people.  I'm most likely be joining the Surf Perch Classic this year if I get it together.  Any others here gonna do it?  Thanks again and ohhh boy!
