Today there is a triathlon at lake Mendo. A couple of my wife's friends at participating. Two days ago they were training by swimming in the lake near the South boat ramp. When they got out of the lake, all three of them noticed that their legs, from their knees down, were covered with black leaches.

What a trip! I never knew that there were leaches in the lake. Maybe using an imitation leach could land a striper like in the Sacramento River?

Anyway, if you decide to swim in Lake Mendo, I suggest that you check yourself for leaches afterward.

CHEERS!

The lake really is starting to get low.  The North Ramp is closed...
