I am moving DNS servers starting now. Everything SHOULD be transparent but just in case don't freak out. It should be settled down shortly.

Didn't have enough warning to get your TTLs down to minimums?

Nah I am better than that  :smt044  :smt003

The zone file at GoDaddy got munged somehow. I had to call them to get it taken care of. Great, fast customer service though.

Bill,

I (the company I worked for) paid money just to not have to ever deal with GoDaddy ever again. The folks there were very nice, but were handcuffed by their policies. Escalation up a level did not work either. The situation arose because the original SSL cert was purchased by a consultant.

I wound up going elsewhere to get the cert. Doing so cost a bit more, but it was dead simple to get a new cert, rather than purchase the extension through GoDaddy.

What's up with all the hyperlinking that's now showing up? Are folks doing this on their own? Or is a new umm... feature of the website?

Just trying to pay the server bills, there is a post in General about it. Beta testing the new Amazon contextual tagging deal.

I just use Godaddy for DNS, not sure I would use them for anything else.
