Did you know that it is illegal to launch and/or operate a jetski from any of the coastline in Mendocino County? 

They were actually waverunners with four stroke engines and so technically fit into the category of boats; but they did get hassled at one point about it.

Mahi, if I were you I'd paddle up behind one of them while making a siren sound and tell him to pull over...making sure it's off the highway of course, safety first. Then be sure to cite him, maybe for the extra drama ask him if he's had anything to drink while shining your flashlight in his face.  :smt003

Ha ha. Personally, I don't have an issue with them on the ocean. But as soon as one is put on the beach, people start calling. You'd think they were setting up an oil rig or something.
