I'm dying to get back on my 'yak, and all this talk of krill fed salmon has me jonesing...

Steve I am really sorry but a non-yak buddy of mine wants to go on a party boat saturday, so i agreed.

Yes, Sunday seems too sloppy, Saturday looks like the day, early on and off, fast limits of krill-fed salmon.  I would love to head out with you sometime - just that Saturday I won't be able to.

Please do post a report with photos.   Let's hook it up some other time?

Brian RF season opens here June 1 also; I take it that's what you meant.  Pt Reyes/Chimney rock is bordered by an MPA but outside that you could try to take a combo trip then.  Or if the winds are favorable, start to paddle down early across Drake's Bay to the Double Point area N of Bolinas towards Dux and go for RF, then troll for salmon to PR buoy and coming back to land.
