I can only get out sunday. I'll be hook and line fishing carmel. Might dive a little if conditions are nice. Being so new I don't feel comfortable with solo diving.

my wife joking always says, "work hard, retire early, and you can be fishing everyday for 30 years...and yes you can buy a boat."

meanwhile i sit at a desk or in some meeting room somewhere listening to folks drone on.  It coudl be worse though- we could be in nebraska or some place- land locked!

My buddy Russ lived and worked HARD in the Bay Area for years until he and the wife decided to start a better life in Hawaii....they did it and the family is "living da life"  :smt045

His wife is a dentist, he's a charter boat captain, got 3 kids (Marina, Fisher and Kai) living in a house they built in Kona.

and just to rub it in  :smt064....he sends me emails like this every now and then....basically, just a day in the office.....

caught a 675lb blue today.  Killled the bastard and weighed it so it's official.  Actually the charter wanted to kill it which is against my better judgement because it takes me an extra hour to clean the boat and get rid of the damn thing.  Anyway, it was a nice bite....came in and piled on one of the lures I made last week.  It's the first fish this lure has caught out of 4 charters so it's a good sign for this lure.  My buddy hooked and killed an 810lb blue today as well so there are some monsters around now.....I will send pics later....

yes.....I hate him too  :smt003

Hey, my wife's working towards being a dentist.  Hmmm... ;)

Hold in there John, we're paying the dues now, but the dividends could be just around the corner!
