I like # 7 but someone needs to fix the rod and the line.....

The mean Ling gets my vote. Indigenous (fancy way to say homeboy logo all the way....

Tough choice.  I voted and can not wait to get a nice sweatshirt with the winner printed on it whichever design wins.

The way the ling logo was resized, the lines are a little grainy.  It was done in vector format so it will actually show cleaner than how it was represented here.

No matter what... I think we're going to end up with a nice fresh new logo... good work everyone!

I would like to say everyone did amazing work. I was amazed the both the quantity and quality of all the submissions.

As for the graininess... everyone should take the time and view all the images in their full size before voting.  For PC users with Firefox all you have to do is right click on an image and select "view image".   I'll update the ling logo so that it isn't grainy at that size.

There's a lot of talent hereabouts.  Thanks to everyone who put in the effort to submit an entry. I finally found a favorite, but I'll be happy with any of the offerings.

I like # 8, but I want a shirt with the ling logo and it will look great as a Car Decal as well, it just needs one of Bill's Swimbaits hanging out of it's jaws

Personally, I like Surfing Marmot's earlier idea of separating the idea of a logo (for t-shirts, decals, etc..) with having other art (like option #8) for banners at shows and events.  Although you'd probably want the logo within the art somewhere.  Anyway, just a repost of someone else's idea.

I agree that for number 5 it should have a swim bait or jig in the mouth. Would go great on a polo shirt as a small front embroidered logo.

Unfortunately you can not use option #7 as one of your choices.  It is taken from a design I did of JTP using his image which I do not have his written permission to use, nor does Marimate have my permission to use.

As a result Bill could get sued if he uses it for Tee Shirts, banners, stickers, or on his web.
