Central Coast Kayakfishing is proud to offer a series of rockfish and lingcod open party clinics on July 2nd and August 6th, 2005.

Learn to successfully fish for rockfish and lingcod with Central Coast Kayakfishing guide and Santa Cruz local Brendan Crahan. These trips, designed for the beginning to advanced angler, offer an in depth introduction to the rich rockfish and lingcod fisheries found off the Central Coast.

Topics we will cover include the use of plastics and bars, rockfish rigs, potpoling in the kelp, fishing deep reefs, big jigging for lingcod, surface fishing for rockfish, tricks when the fish are off the bite, the seasonal behavior of rockfish and lingcod, marine bio surrounding the fishery, safely landing big lingcod from a kayak, kayak fishing safety, seasonal weather patterns, and rigging.
