Looks like we'll have good conditions for the ocean next weekend. Swells looking to go down and i think after all this surge and rough water from the week before the fish will surely be biting since theyve been holed up holding position for a while now.

Maybe a good time to make some plans for an outing.

Last year i caught a halibut somewhere off cannery row around this time of year. I think it was a few days before halloween.

I think they are out there.

I'm thinking about Garrapata on the 5th with a buddy...if that falls thru it's nice to know that the usual haunts will be a bit smoother.
