Sunday 09/24 Delta Meadows?

We're going to be launching at Delta Meadows Sunday morning, who wants to join us?

Just a heads up - There was a major sewage spill at Walnut Grove last week. Thats pretty close to the Meadows. Too close for sewage and SOT Kayaks anyway. Someone posted on Coastside about it.

Wtama did you verify the spill location?

I read about that the other day. According to the Bee, it's in Walnut Grove. I believe that would place it down river from DM. It was stopped on Tuesday and is probably in the bay by now. I catch and release my bass anyway, so it's not an issue.

I went to DM today and took a walk all the way down railroad slough. Water looks great with only a few pb's running around. I may see you there tomorrow.

The sanitation district posted signs Tuesday warning people not to go into the river. The signs were removed when the pipe was shut off later that day

How did you do?   Inquiring minds (or mind) want to know.

I caught 3 small ones, my dad caught one.  I don't think we were fishing deep enough.  I would like to get a side finder out there, and work on our technique more.  But a great spot!  Quiet, beautiful, great.  Missed you out there Al.
