As I was making my way to Mendo last Friday morning (from HMB)...I spotted the legendary "Blue Kayak".....he was parked just outside the Hilltop market off HWY 92...the stationwagon and blue tarpon 160 was a dead give away......I was going to stop to take a photo - just to prove that this gentleman DOES exist (since no one has ever seen, met or fished with him) but the traffic was just a mess. I'll get him next time :smt002

This is will be my 2nd "Blue Kayak sighting"....I believe Chuck and Stu have spotted him from a distance not to long ago in HMB as well.

I think we should make a contest out of this  :smt003 First one to take a close up photo of Blue Kayak and actually shake his hand gets a round of beer from Bill  :smt045

...The hunt for Blue Kayak continues.....  :smt064

My dad was fishing at Dux last summer and told me he saw a kayker. He thinks I'm nuts.  But he said this guy was out pretty far and alone. I asked him what color the Kayak was and he said blue.  hMMM.. He doesn't know anything about kayaks so I can't verify if this is a true sighting, but I think it is safe to say it was :smt006

Last year, I met him a couple of miles out of moss. We chatted 5 minutes.

I do believe I've won something.  I posted this pic in the wilderness systems kayak forum also.  Oh!  Salmon season rapidly approaches, i'm salivating.  Now, time to go buy 30 dollars worth of lead and a dozen sinker releases!!!  jtf..

Jeez that's a stupid looking hat! Guess I better do a little hat shopping

I lost my favorite one getting rolled at the mouth of Bolinas

If anybody spots a dark blue brim with a blacked in TweetyBird on the front I'll pay a reward   I figure one of the local beach dwellers is probably wearing it
