Very cool article  :smt002  I saw Johns plan coming a long ways away  :smt044  Interesting what you figure out just by watching the AOTY board  :smt004

AOTY is a sick contest, way up there in cred. Winning one is an incredible feat. I appreciate what the NCKA hardcore do - I've covered AOTY since the very first edition. Here's to an epic 2012!

Thanks for the article. You should come up north for one of our tourneys. BTW saw the Panama episode with you and Jim and loved it. YFT on surface poppers is too cool . Two points off for no PFD.  :smt005

^Thanks! I've come up for past events (including Elk - fun times), but I'm overdo for a return. This year!

About those PFDs. They were supposed to show up with the boats, via freighter no doubt. We get there, no PFDs. Thank goodness. It was freaking hot and humid. Whatever - Panama was amazing.

Thanks guys, you're too cool. Fortunately, NorCal events are within a decent day's drive. There's no substitute to using your own yak and tackle - they're like perfectly worn in boots.

The Albion dates are in my calendar - Aug 10-12. Not only are you guys fishing rock stars, you out-cook and Q just about anyone.

I know Albion is the big shindig, the spiritual successor to Elk. What else is on the schedule this year?
